Fake Hills Architecture by Mad Architects in Beihai, China
MAD Architects’ Fake Hills development is inspired by nature. China-based architectural firm MAD Architects unveiled the design of housing development located in the coastal city of Beihai. The development combines two types that are common to most residential developments in China, including high altitude and long-term, low-rise blocks.

The sustainable " Fake Hills " development will reduce energy consumption by allowing natural light and air to filter through. In addition, various stages of development including artificial gardens that provide clean air in the area and prevent runoff of rainwater and keep the interior temperature regulated.
