2012 London pavilion Architecture
Portuguese architecture José Carlos Cruz, Ines Guedes, Miguel Cruz and Antonio Santos led the competition for [AC-CA] win an information pavilion beat for the 2012 Olympics in London, UK. A symbol symbolic event in the middle of Trafalgar Square, crown blue, yellow, black, green, red and white, the structure of the transition to allow arcs to the view through the large urban areas. The scope will be available in several areas by encouraging the visitors freely through the porous border raised. Once inside, winding through the five areas of the round, the simulation of the Olympic rings and enjoy a panoramic view outside, building wells and residential areas. The curved front mirror reflecting the landscape to a frame for photos with a continuous and vigorous public care among the visitors. The interior of the house offers, touch screens and interactive maps of solar panels on the roof of a user-friendly interface provides for the acquisition of information. Video projections on the inner and outer walls at a discounted stream of current events and those that occurred in the region to obtain consent.
